The Forest
The Forest is a volunteer-run, self-funded, independent, not-for-profit arts space located in the centre of Edinburgh.
It is available to all people and is funded by its vegetarian cafe.

The Forest is not commercially motivated. This allows us to experiment with projects which may not be possible for normal commercial organisations.

The Foundry
I used to go here most nights after work when I was in London... I saw some pretty bizarre and amazing stuff..
It's a bar, venue, gallery and theatre where you can expect to witness performance art, situational theatre, djs, poetry, ritual and, apparently, explosions - all within the confines of a former bank and its high density concrete vaults.

A venue developed from a derelict shoe and bag wholesaler which has been transformed into a bar and exhibition space. Run by creative people for creative people.

Shunt
Shunt, one of my favourite performance companies who I have been lucky enough to work with in the past.. are a collective of 10 artists creating large-scale performance events in unexpected, abandoned or derelict buildings throughout London.
Shunt Lounge
The SHUNT LOUNGE is a members' bar, deep in the tunnels under London Bridge Station. Each week is curated by a different Shunt artist. Some fill the space with nonstop entertainment, some do next to nothing fortunately the bar staff are more reliable.
